Wendy Francis | Board Chair
Wendy Francis is a respected Australian advocate known for her work on social issues affecting children, families, and religious freedom. With over two decades in senior leadership roles—including at Griffith University, Queensland Baptists, and the Australian Christian Lobby—she has influenced public policy and led national campaigns on sex education, anti-bullying, and online safety. Wendy has also served on several not-for-profit boards and authored children’s books promoting values and integrity. In 2024, Wendy retired from full-time work but continues her advocacy through “Truth That Transforms,” a ministry she shares with her husband, Peter Francis. Together, they have three married children and eleven grandchildren. Wendy remains a prominent voice in faith-based leadership and continues to inspire through her writing and public engagement.
Paul Ninnes
Paul is the co-founder and Managing Director of Real Talk International. He has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, postgraduate qualifications in Sexual Health and Theology (Marriage and Family). He is married to Emma-lee and they have six beautiful children. In 2014, as part of the Community Leader Awards, Paul was awarded the Professional Leader of the Year. Paul has been invited to speak at a variety of events in Australia and New Zealand. Paul uses his powerful life story and builds on fifteen years of ministry experience to present a life-changing message on a variety of topics to over 10 000 people each year.
Kaya Lombaard
Kaya is a seasoned Christian educator with over 31 years of experience across South Africa, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia. She currently serves as Regional Education Director for the Pacific Group of Christian Schools (NSW). Kaya holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership, and a Master of Educational Leadership. She has served in a range of executive leadership roles, including on the Meta Leadership Team for Pacific Group of Christian Schools; as Head of Senior School and Associate Principal at KingsWay School (New Zealand); and as Chair of the Board of Directors for KingsWay Early Childhood Centres (New Zealand). Deeply committed to the transformational power of Christ, Kaya is passionate about growing and equipping Christian leaders and teachers.
Kathryn Carmichael
Kate has worked in Catholic education for over 15 years, with a particular passion for the primary years and supporting teachers in curriculum development and school charism. She has held leadership positions within Brisbane Catholic Education, including Assistant Principal – Religious Education, and currently works in the Faith and Mission portfolio at a Catholic boys’ college. Kate holds a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Master of Theology. She has also been active in Church life through her involvement in RCIA, various parish based ministries and the Youth Catholic Women’s Interfaith Fellowship.
Samuel Brebner
Dilan Samuel
Dilan Samuel is a CPA with a diverse background spanning accounting, leadership, and operations across education, construction, not-for-profit, and international business sectors. He runs Bean Counter Solutions, offering bookkeeping, payroll, and BAS advisory services. Dilan holds a Master of Professional Accounting and MBA from the University of Canberra. Dilan also serves as Treasurer on the boards of Dads4Kids and Divergent Global Incorporated.
